I talked to Lawrence on live chat earlier, but before he could log onto my computer in TeamViewer he got disconnected. So, I will post my question here:
I have the Enterprise edition 3.0 beta desktop studio running on my Vista machine. I created a campaign using a template. I designated a channel with the advertising engine on it. Through my studio, I created a test studio for an "advertiser". Except for a bug that we already worked out together, everything is working fine for that test package. I now have created a second test studio through my studio for a second "advertiser". Both of the test advertiser studios are being accessed from my reseller studio (or accessed individually, it doesnt make a difference). Both test advertisers only have their permissions set to allow resources and outgoing ads.
When I first accessed the new 2nd test advertiser studio, I saw that I could see the resources for my campaign. I was able to take care of this by disabling anybody else from being able to delete the resources. I also changed the access key from "0" to "1" for the advertisers so that they could not see my campaign resources.
However, the 2nd test advertiser could see the resources and the adout package of the first advertiser. The 2nd advertiser could also modify the resources and the adout package of the first advertiser (which suspended that account as I have it set to do if the package date or package content changes).
Why can another account (advertiser) see the other account's package and attempt to modify it? Is this just a permissions issue that I am not aware of? I have tried multiple ways to disallow this from happening, but I cant figure it out. Is it a bug?
Thanks,
Jeff
