Fade on/off
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:03:56 AM »
You might put an option to enable or disable the "fade between files" in the timeline? I notice that on slower computers, such as Atom D330, the image freezes momentarily during the fade. If we could turn off the fade, we could use this type of computers. This would reduce the cost considerably. I remember in earlier versions, when there was the "fade"worked very well in this kind of PC.

Same thing. My files with 15 seconds of animation start over while fade. Maybe you could include some "stop" action on file's last frame.

It's part of release 3.2: Direct-x, transitions and effects!

Sounds good. Will the media player purchased from Media Signage update automatically or will this have to be manually updated and installed?

A quick fix to the "stopping of video during the fade" may be to make the video a couple seconds longer than what you intend to have on the timeline because the fade requires a second or so of video. I haven't tried this yet but it makes sense to me.
