Version 3 and updating clients

We built a new server for the 64 bit requirement for version 3 and I'm wondering how to update the end users app to reflect a new server name?  Since we had a server in production and brought up a new one, we just named the new one 'master1'.  Is there a config file that can be modified on the client side to have the users point to the new server or do we need to uninstall the existing version, reboot, and install the new version from the new server's install page?
I was able to go to the new web page and replace my client air file but when I launch it, it is still pointing to the old server.
Any advice is appreciated.

**UPDATE - I uninstalled SignageStudio, rebooted, installed the updated version from our new server and it still looks to be pointed to the old server.

First, uninstall the SignagePlayer Desktop version.

Next you will need to delete the Cookie for the SignagePlayer:

In Windows:

Delete the following directories:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\SignagePlayer.*

Replace USER_NAME with your logged in user name.

In Ubuntu Linux:

rm -f -r /home/root/.appdata/SignagePlayer.* or /root/.appdata/SignagePlayer.*

and when done install the NEW version from your NEW 3.0 server (previous version 2.X not compatible with the new mediaSERVER 3.0)

In Mac OS X
rm -r -f /Users/YOUR_USER/Library/Preferences/SignagePlayer.XXX
AND
rm -r -f /private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SignagePlayer.XXX

I cant find the C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\SignagePlayer in Vista to delete the cookie. I have searched my system thoroughly with no luck, any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response admin! After following the bleepingcomputer tutorial, I worked through a few minor discrepencies in the path and I found the old Signage Player folder. The 3.0 Signage Player is working great!
