Versio 10.88 without internet conn.

In previous versions, the player started even without being connected to the internet. The version 10.88 does not start. This is causing me problems. I have some players that start before the internet connection is on, in local network. The player displays startup screen with no characters (window that displays station name and the connection and so on ...) and stuck there, until Internet connection is established. When connection failed the restarting sinageplayer on same screen, until the internet connection is re-established. What can be?

Release 88 works very well without a net connection. It's been out for over 10 months and very stable release.
This could be related to something else, talk to Lawrence via Live Chat ( Live support: http://chat.mediasignage.com ) and ask him to delete your Player cookie so you can re-register...

Just happened that time. I disconnected the internet and all images used on the scene editor are no longer displayed in the player.
For example, use the catalog component for displaying a scene done in the scene editor, which contains a background image. This image to be displayed in the player immediately after disconnecting from the internet. The same happens with the images placed in the catalog.

Release 2.X is now obsolete and development had stopped on it and so I would recommend you test your issue on 3.X. If you find an issue in 3.X and we can reproduce it, we can push to get it fixed, but again as of now there is no known issue with this... so please test in 3.X
