Delay start to SWF slideshows
« on: April 06, 2011, 09:29:56 AM »
I wanted to put a slide show in one of my screen divisions. I thought using Bannerzest Pro to make a SWF slideshow was a clever solution, but I have some problems with the player. Sometimes the SWF slideshow doesn't update to the player. Almost every time the slideshow starts playing late on the timeline. On a one-minute time line, the screen will be blank for about 30 seconds before it starts playing the SWF. Like it's loading or something. The SWF file size is usually less than 4 MB.

Is there a better way to make slide shows? Or is there a method to handling SWF content that I'm missing?

Best is just to add all your images one after the other on the timeline.
We do support multi drag and drop from resources to timeline (hold down cont key) so it's VERY easy to do ... and use the Auto align button on the top of the timeline to arrange. You can even set the channel properties to Randomize the slides if you want.

Regards,

Eric.
