Respect Aspect Ratio of Custom RSS Resource field
« on: March 28, 2011, 09:14:25 AM »
Good Morning,

I am using a scene with a  custom RSS  component to display the contents from a PicasaWeb feed
The Picasa Album is: newbielink:https://picasaweb.google.com/OttawaTourismPhotos/OttawaTourismPhotos# [nonactive]

I chose customRSS over mediaRSS component because it allowed me to display the title of the photo and the image.  (I couldn't find a means to display the title from the RSS feed in the mediaRSS Component).

Unfortunately, some image are stretched as the aspect ration of the resource image is not respected.  Could the option to respect the aspect ratio be added to the custom RSS resource field?   Or, is there a way to display the title and resource with the mediaRSS

This scene should help show what I am am trying to achieve and if you watch long  enough some stretched images should go by.

Thanks,
Bruce.

I second Bruce/ebj075's request.  Such changes would make the custom RSS component much more useful.
