PC and Mac Player Display Differently
« on: February 13, 2011, 08:10:52 AM »
I'm finding that the SignagePlayer sometimes displays graphics and fonts differently on a PC than on a Mac player. For example, on a Windows player I've had some bitmapped graphics and the font Verdana display much wider than expected within a screen division viewer. It's a kind of stretch that happens. This is true on both Windows XP and Windows Vista. The Mac OS X player seems more faithful to the layout specs.

I guess this means that I can't mix PC and Mac players on my signage network.

You may want to pick fonts that look the same, like Arial or Verdana...
