Process of xml inquiry

Hi.  I need a widget/solution to be able to do xml inquiry, process the answer and display animation based on the answer. 
With Flash / action script it was possible do this for the earlier versions.  But I have not been able to find a solution which could work in the current version. 
Is there anyone who can direct me to somebody ( programmer / company ) who could make such a widget for me to use?

You can use the SearchView by itself, and add an OnQueryTextListener to it, and deal with it there. There is no need for anything else, no Intents, Meta-tags, nor XML files. I have done this a few times.
